My "not getting old" challenges

Updated: Jan 8, 2023

This year, 2023, in August, I turn 50. I know, I know, I don't look it (okay, who said they thought I was already 50?!).

Anyway, all your cheek aside, I don't feel anywhere near what seems a grand age. My brain is still mostly one of a child but I admit there are the odd occasions when my body does tell me otherwise!

So to help with all of this, I've got a few things I want to do this year, and some other things may well crop up along the way.

The first one, will take place through the month of February and will also see me raise funds for Cancer Research UK. We have a family link with cancer and so I want to do what I can, even in a small way, to raise awareness as well as funds.

What will I be doing? We'll, as part of a national campaign, I will be skipping 100 times a day through the whole month. That means 2800 skips in total. (Yep, the brain still works!!)

This seems a manageable challenge while also giving me a good discipline for the month. I hope to have some fun with this along the way too.

So, will you cheer me on? You can do that with encouraging messages, by joining in as well, or by making a donation on my fundraising page at https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/dans-skipping-challenge-giving-page-12

Thanks for your support. Now let's get skipping!
